The Fasting Method Community Code of Conduct

Dear Community Members,

When joining meetings or coaching sessions hosted by The Fasting Method, I agree to and understand the following:

1. Purpose.  TFM services are intended to help people achieve weight loss and type 2 diabetes reversal using intermittent fasting.

2. Community Meetings provide general information, tips and support.

3. Personalized advice and coaching is available via small group,1:1 coaching and Functional Health Consultation. For your safety, our team can’t provide coaching in community groups or in the Forum. For more information on coaching, click here.

4. Medical Advice.  TFM does not provide medical advice. Please contact your medical practitioner with these types of concerns.

5. Respect. Please be kind, respectful, supportive and refrain from judging others for their choices. This includes our members, coaches and the TFM support team behind the scenes.

6. Food talk: Be mindful as many people are fasting, so please refrain from mentioning specific foods. Each meeting has different rules and the coach will outline them at the beginning of the meeting.

7. Confidentiality: Due to the nature of the groups and forum threads, personal information shared is not to be shared outside of these sessions.

8. Direct Messages: As coaches are focused on facilitating community groups, they are unable to read or respond to private messages from participants in live groups.

9. Safety: For your safety, please keep your camera off if you are performing an activity during the live groups. This includes but is not limited to exercising, cleaning, cooking, driving, walking and other activities. The coach will turn off the camera if they feel the member’s activity is distracting.

10. Background photo: Please do not use photos that contain symbols, flags, political messages or images that may not align with everyone in the group. This aligns with item 5 above. If you do have an image that we feel is not appropriate, a TFM representative will reach out and ask for you to remove the image. Non-compliance will result in removal of the community group.
